Primary School Teacher

About the role

The school is seeking an experienced Primary School Teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess learner progress and support the holistic development of pupils.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons in line with the school curriculum.
• Assess and monitor pupils’ progress, providing feedback and targeted support.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Promote positive behaviour, inclusion and a strong classroom culture.
• Maintain accurate pupil records and assessment information.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, professional development and co‑curricular programmes.
• Safeguard the welfare and best interests of all pupils.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and hold a TSC Certificate of Registration.
• Minimum five years of teaching experience, preferably with Cambridge curriculum.
• Strong knowledge of child‑centred primary education approaches.
• Unquestionable integrity, good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy and ability to use email and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Good teamwork, organisation and time‑management abilities.
