Principal (Band A-1 / SC1)

About the role

The school is seeking a qualified Principal (Band A‑1 / SC1) to lead Keyneton Primary School for a ten‑year tenure. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall educational outcomes, staff leadership and community engagement of the school.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and vision for the school community.
• Manage teaching and support staff, including recruitment, performance appraisal and professional development.
• Oversee curriculum implementation and ensure compliance with the South Australian Education standards.
• Develop and monitor the school budget, resources and facilities.
• Foster strong relationships with parents, local partners and the Barossa Valley community.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification and registration.
• Extensive experience in school leadership or senior teaching roles.
• Knowledge of the SA School and Preschool Education Staff Enterprise Agreement 2024.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and improve student achievement.
