Principal Engineering Manager – Remote (EMEA)

About the role

We are seeking a Principal Engineering Manager to lead a critical engineering area within our fast‑growing global product company. In this senior leadership position you will partner closely with Product and Design, shape solutions early, and ensure your team delivers high‑impact, reliable software.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing clear direction, context and feedback.
• Partner with Product and Design to define solutions from concept through delivery.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery, ensuring clarity, alignment and momentum across the team.
• Drive predictable execution through thoughtful planning, realistic expectations and transparent communication of progress and risks.
• Maintain high engineering standards for quality, scalability and maintainability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering organization.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading engineering teams in a product‑focused company.
• Proven track record delivering complex products or systems in fast‑moving environments.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort participating in both technical and product discussions.
