Procurement Officer – Construction (2 positions)

About the role

Brookhill Projects Limited is seeking two Procurement Officers to manage the full buying cycle for construction projects. You will operate from the Nairobi office, conduct site visits and coordinate with quantity surveyors and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Convert site requisitions into timely orders that meet program schedules and budget constraints.
• Run RFQs, compare quotations, issue LPOs and reconcile GRNs and invoices with site and finance teams.
• Negotiate price, credit terms and delivery schedules with suppliers and enforce agreed terms.
• Verify deliveries against orders with site agents and stores, ensuring payment only for received items.
• Monitor market prices, source alternative suppliers when needed, and maintain auditable records of quotations, approvals and supplier files.

Required profile

• Strong negotiation skills and ability to work independently without close supervision.
• Capable of managing multiple orders across several projects while maintaining accurate records.
• Confident communicating price concerns to suppliers and availability issues to project managers.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to read Bills of Quantities and material specifications.
• Knowledge of the Nairobi hardware and building‑materials market and current pricing.
