About the role
Ultra Promo Limited is seeking a Procurement Officer to join its supply chain team in Westlands, Nairobi. You will be responsible for managing the full procurement cycle, from sourcing and costing to receiving and inspecting goods, ensuring that all purchases meet quality and budgetary standards.
Key responsibilities
- Handle quotations, perform costing, and establish purchase budgets.
- Create and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing and supply contracts, and regularly renegotiate terms.
- Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier lists, and order tracking.
- Receive, inspect, and distribute goods, resolving any discrepancies.
- Monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely arrivals.
- Collaborate with team members to support overall procurement activities.
Required profile
- Degree or diploma in Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Goal‑oriented, organized team player.
