Procurement Senior Officer (Full-time)

About the role

The Procurement Senior Officer is responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement services that comply with UNOPS rules, ensure risk management and deliver best value for money across goods, services and works.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procurement activities in accordance with UNOPS rules, regulations, policies and strategic frameworks.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop procurement plans and strategies that incorporate sustainability and value‑for‑money principles.
• Manage the full procurement lifecycle, including planning, sourcing, solicitation, evaluation, award, contract finalisation and contract management.
• Prepare and submit procurement documentation to Contract and Property Committees and maintain supplier information in the UNOPS ERP system.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of international public procurement policy and processes.
• Ability to analyse and interpret procurement rules, provide advice on complex issues and ensure compliance.
• Experience in strategic relationship building, demand management and market analysis.
