Procurement & Supply Chain Lead – Nairobi

About the role

The Procurement & Supply Chain Lead will oversee and coordinate all procurement and supply‑chain activities for the client’s head office in Langata, Nairobi. This senior position is responsible for ensuring efficient purchasing, supplier management and inventory control to support the organization’s operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end procurement processes and purchasing activities.
• Support supplier sourcing, evaluation and relationship management.
• Monitor orders, deliveries and supplier performance.
• Assist with inventory and stock availability planning.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Support cost‑control initiatives and efficient resource use.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures and relevant regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business or related field.
• 7–12 years of relevant procurement or supply‑chain experience.
• Professional qualification in procurement or supply‑chain management (preferred).
• Experience with imports (advantage).
