Product Manager – Security (AI/ML & MLOps)

About the role

Canonical is looking for a Product Manager to lead the development of security‑focused AI/ML and MLOps solutions. You will own the product lifecycle, shape the vision, and work closely with cross‑functional teams to bring innovative security products to market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the product development lifecycle, set priorities and goals, and ensure alignment across engineering, design, marketing and sales.
• Conduct market research, analyse industry trends and gather customer feedback to identify new opportunities.
• Communicate product vision, status updates and key decisions to stakeholders and manage expectations.
• Run usability testing, analyse user feedback and iterate to improve the user experience.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and support to develop go‑to‑market strategies, create documentation and provide training.
• Support the sales team in winning new opportunities, attend customer meetings and incorporate feedback.
• Oversee consistency of strategy and execution across multiple product lines and resolve cross‑team conflicts.

Required profile

• Exceptional academic performance at high school and university level.
• Strong understanding of Linux and the open‑source software community.
• Knowledge of computer architecture, application development, datacenters, cloud or devices.
• Passion for technology writing and continuous learning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated leadership in aligning diverse teams and driving consensus.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to four times per year.
