Product Research Manager

About the role

Jacaranda Health is seeking a senior Product Research Manager to lead the evaluation of health interventions across their lifecycle. You will work closely with product, data, tech and program teams to understand how, why, and for whom interventions succeed, with a focus on equity and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute rapid user and product research embedded in development cycles.
• Lead mixed‑methods studies that inform product iteration, scale‑up, sustainability and impact.
• Translate research findings into clear product, programmatic or policy recommendations.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, government and donor partners to embed research into delivery.
• Analyze quantitative data using statistical software and complement it with qualitative insights.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in public health, epidemiology, implementation science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5‑8+ years of applied or product/UX‑focused research experience, preferably in digital health.
• Proven senior‑level experience designing studies that guide product decisions in complex health systems.
• Strong ability to communicate findings to cross‑functional teams and influence roadmaps.

Required skills

• Proficiency with statistical software such as STATA or R.
• Experience using qualitative analysis tools like NVivo or Atlas.ti.
• Knowledge of basic statistics and mixed‑methods research.
• Familiarity with user and product analytics dashboards.
