Production Accountant

About the role

We are a not‑for‑profit organization seeking a Production Accountant to support an upcoming film project based in Karen. The position can be full‑time or part‑time, starting in June, and will involve managing the financial aspects of the production.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor the production budget, ensuring all costs are recorded accurately.
• Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims from vendors and crew members.
• Reconcile bank statements and production accounts on a regular basis.
• Prepare periodic financial reports for the production team and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with producers and department heads to forecast cash flow and manage financial risks.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and any grant or donor requirements.

Required profile

• Prior experience in production accounting, film finance, or project accounting is preferred.
• Availability to start in June and work on‑site in Karen.
• Ability to work either full‑time or part‑time depending on mutual agreement.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
