Production Planning Coordinator

About the role

A client of Piposoft is looking for a Production Planning Coordinator to bring structure, visibility and discipline to its production and inventory planning processes. The role turns business demand, manufacturing capacity and material requirements into integrated, executable plans, acting as the link between Production, Procurement, Warehousing, Commercial, Finance, Maintenance and IT.

Key responsibilities

• Translate demand into realistic, executable production plans aligned to manufacturing capability, keeping priorities clear and driving sequencing and scheduling
• Ensure manufacturing capacity is fully utilized, identify constraints and bottlenecks early and minimize production disruptions
• Keep materials available, eliminate shortages and excess inventory, and support procurement planning
• Proactively identify planning risks, escalate critical constraints and give leadership visibility of major risks
• Monitor performance against plan, investigate variances, coordinate corrective action and deliver planning insights and recommendations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Statistics or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in production planning, inventory planning, supply chain, manufacturing operations or related fields
• Proven track record planning manufacturing capacity and coordinating with cross-functional teams
• Preferred: experience in vertically integrated textile manufacturing or similar environments, and exposure to resource and capacity optimization methods

Required skills

• Experience with ERP/SAP systems and planning tools
• Strong analytical and planning capability, systems and data-oriented mindset
• Structured, process-driven approach and ability to manage complexity
