Production Supervisor – Garment Manufacturing

About the role

The Production Supervisor will lead daily operations for our school and fashion sweater lines, ensuring that knitting, stitching, finishing and packaging meet quality standards and delivery schedules. This role combines hands‑on machine oversight with team leadership in a fast‑paced garment factory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage daily, weekly and monthly production plans for multiple garment lines.
• Oversee knitting machine settings, gauge control and pattern execution to minimise downtime.
• Supervise stitching teams, ensuring accurate garment assembly and seam quality.
• Enforce quality control at washing, pressing, labeling, folding and packaging stages.
• Control inventory of yarns, trims and accessories, reducing waste and coordinating supplier replenishment.
• Translate designers' sketches and tech packs into production‑ready garments.
• Lead and train production staff, monitor performance and resolve operational issues.
• Track production costs, material consumption, labor efficiency and machine utilisation.
• Prepare daily production, efficiency and rejection reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and workplace cleanliness standards.

Required profile

• Diploma in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, Production Management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in garment or textile production supervision.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑stage manufacturing processes.
• Strong organisational and reporting skills.
