Production Supervisor

About the role

Our client, a leading food‑processing manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily factory operations in Ukunda, Kwale County. The role ensures efficient production, high product quality, and a safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, coach and support production staff to meet daily targets.
• Prepare work schedules, allocate resources and monitor employee performance.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor daily manufacturing activities, adjusting workflows as needed.
• Maintain accurate production tracking and performance records.
• Ensure products meet quality standards, conduct inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Identify and drive process‑improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Enforce health and safety policies, conduct safety briefings and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to production performance and incidents.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience supervising manufacturing teams.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills.
• Solid understanding of production planning, quality control and continuous‑improvement methods.
• Experience in food‑processing environments and familiarity with food‑safety regulations.
