Production Warehouse Operations Lead (Kenya)

About the role

Bayer is seeking a Production Warehouse Operations Lead to shape logistics and warehousing strategy for seed production inputs across Kenya. The role will ensure seamless intake, storage, and distribution of raw seeds, foundation seeds, chemicals, and packaging materials while maintaining strict quality and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a logistics and warehousing strategy aligned with field production and tolling operations.
• Coordinate weekly stock counts, mass balancing, and SAP stock movements to achieve 100% physical‑system match.
• Prepare daily intake reports, weekly and monthly stock reconciliations, and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Manage contracts for transporters, warehouses, and temporary labour, ensuring compliance with legal and Bayer policies.
• Oversee EHS, OnePSS, and OMS processes within all warehouse sites.
• Train and support team members on SAP and other digital platforms, using OnePSS for visual management and KPI tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse, supply chain operations, or planning.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Results‑focused mindset with ability to manage budgets and resources.

Required skills

• SAP for inventory and stock movement management.
• Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
• OnePSS platform for visual management and KPI tracking.
