Professional Nanny (Early Childhood Focus)

About the role

We are seeking a trained and experienced female professional nanny to join a private family in Runda, Nairobi. This full‑time live‑in position supports the daily care, learning and well‑being of young children in a structured household.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily care and supervision of the children.
• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate developmental activities.
• Support early learning milestones such as speech, motor skills and routines.
• Maintain a safe, calm and organized environment at all times.
• Monitor children’s health, behavior and overall well‑being.
• Assist with feeding, sleep schedules and personal hygiene.
• Keep children’s rooms, toys and play areas clean and orderly.
• Coordinate with the household cook regarding meals and feeding times.

Required profile

• Formal training in childcare, early childhood development or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of nanny experience in a private home or similar setting.
• Basic first‑aid knowledge or certification.
• Valid certificate of good conduct and willingness to undergo a medical examination.
• Calm, patient, attentive and highly responsible personality.
• Ability to work independently, follow structured routines and maintain high personal cleanliness and presentation.
