About the role
This position sits at the centre of project delivery, giving the Project Manager and IT Projects Supervisor a reliable, real‑time picture of how each initiative is tracking against its agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality expectations. You will keep plans, registers, trackers and reports current, follow up on outstanding actions and flag any threats to delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain project plans, milestone schedules, action logs and status reports to ensure alignment with agreed deliverables.
- Track progress across multiple concurrent projects, monitoring dependencies, risks, issues and open actions, and escalating delays or concerns.
- Monitor adherence to approved project processes and surface control gaps, process deviations and potential exposures.
- Keep governance records – decision logs, approval records, change requests and action registers – up‑to‑date and authorised.
- Coordinate and track user acceptance testing, maintaining schedules, test scripts, results and defect logs.
- Support regression testing and post‑deployment validation to confirm released solutions behave as intended.
- Consolidate project performance data into regular status reporting, dashboards and KPI trackers, analysing trends and bottlenecks.
- Maintain risk and issue registers, monitor mitigation activities and contribute to post‑implementation reviews.
- Safeguard documentation quality by keeping repositories complete, current and version‑controlled.
Required profile
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, IT or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, PMO, business analysis, quality assurance or similar roles.
- Solid understanding of project management principles, scope, schedule, risk and change control.
- Strong analytical ability to interpret KPIs and translate data into concise reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies or missing approvals.
- Proactive coordination and follow‑through, capable of juggling several projects and stakeholder groups.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to raise risks and gaps constructively.
