Project Manager (ICT & Cybersecurity)

About the role

The Project Manager will be based in Nairobi and will lead the delivery of complex ICT infrastructure, cloud migration and enterprise cybersecurity projects for major financial institutions, telecom operators and corporate enterprises across East Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and client stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, master schedules and blueprints.
• Track performance against KPIs, ensuring milestones such as network deployments, software integrations and security audits are met.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams including network engineers, software developers, systems architects and third‑party vendors.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks including scope creep, hardware supply delays and deployment bottlenecks.
• Serve as primary point of contact for enterprise clients, providing regular progress reports to internal executives and client steering committees.
• Monitor budgets, forecast resource costs, manage change requests and ensure compliance with client SLAs.
• Validate that all delivered infrastructure meets technical benchmarks and regulatory standards before handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years (36 months) of experience managing ICT and cybersecurity projects.
• Proven ability to lead large‑scale infrastructure and cloud migration initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

What we offer

• Gross salary KES 180,000 – KES 230,000 per month (depending on experience)
