Project Manager

About the role

ABNO Softwares International is looking for a Project Manager in Nairobi to lead the planning, execution and delivery of strategic projects. The role suits a results-driven leader who manages cross-functional teams, keeps projects on time and within budget, and acts as the main link between clients, stakeholders and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables, and develop detailed plans, timelines and resource strategies
• Run day-to-day activities, monitor progress, identify risks and mitigate them
• Deliver projects on time, within scope and within budget
• Act as the main contact for clients and stakeholders, giving regular updates and reports to senior management
• Lead, mentor and assign tasks to project teams, resolving conflicts
• Ensure adherence to policies and standards, oversee quality assurance and support audits and compliance reviews
• Identify process improvements, give project insights to business development and help drive innovation in project methods and tools

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, IT or a related field
• 5+ years of project management experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Proven track record delivering complex projects in technology or ERP environments
• PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile/Scrum Master certification highly desirable

Required skills

• Project management methodologies and tools such as MS Project, Jira, Trello and ERP systems
• Communication, negotiation and stakeholder management
• Analytical and problem-solving ability, and ability to handle several projects at once under tight deadlines
