Project Officer – Research & Data Management

About the role

The Project Officer will support research and project implementation at Zetech University by managing data, analysing findings and coordinating activities. The role ensures timely tracking, documentation and delivery of project outputs and research deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Support project planning, implementation tracking and coordination of activities and deliverables.
• Conduct literature reviews and assist in developing research tools and protocols.
• Transcribe interviews and focus group discussions.
• Clean, organise, code and manage qualitative and quantitative data.
• Conduct data analysis, interpretation and synthesis of findings.
• Contribute to donor reports, research reports, case studies, presentations, publications and other knowledge products.
• Maintain project trackers and follow up required information from project staff, consultants and partners.
• Support the organisation and documentation of project meetings and research activities.
• Perform any other duties allocated by the line manager.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in research, social sciences, business, development studies, project management or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in research, transcription, data analysis and report writing.
• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative data‑analysis software.
• Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills.
