Project Trainee (12‑month program)

About the role

Join Haleon as a Project Trainee for a 12‑month rotational program supporting engineering and automation projects across our consumer health portfolio. You will work closely with senior engineers, assisting in design reviews, equipment commissioning, and maintenance planning.

Key responsibilities

• Support review of EHS assessments and engineering drawings (P&IDs, layouts).
• Deliver assigned automation projects, including specifications, OEM engagement, installation and commissioning.
• Assist Engineering Technicians with breakdown, corrective, planned, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Help schedule jobs, set up and manage project timelines.
• Maintain engineering spares inventory and equipment calibration records.
• Perform periodic CMMS work‑order reviews to ensure data integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Strong interest in industrial engineering, automation and project coordination.
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety and quality standards.

Required skills

• Familiarity with computerised management systems and ERP platforms.
• Experience or knowledge of CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System).
• Understanding of P&IDs and engineering drawing interpretation.
