Qualification and Assessment Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Qualification and Assessment Developer to shape the future of our qualifications and apprenticeship assessments. Working remotely, you will influence the design, development and continuous improvement of regulated qualifications, assessment materials and learning resources that meet UK regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, review and maintain regulated qualifications, apprenticeship assessment materials and bespoke products.
• Manage development projects through the full product lifecycle, from concept and research to implementation and review.
• Collaborate with employers, training providers, industry specialists and internal teams to ensure products are credible, relevant and fit for purpose.
• Contribute to portfolio reviews and respond to changes in regulation, apprenticeship standards and market demand.
• Support colleagues across the organisation by sharing expertise on qualification and assessment requirements.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of the UK qualifications and apprenticeship landscape.
• Experience in qualification and assessment development, including apprenticeships.
• Understanding of assessment principles such as validity, reliability and appropriate practice.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and bodies, especially Ofqual.
• Excellent project‑management and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
