Quality Assurance Assistant – Manufacturing

About the role

The Quality Assurance Assistant will support the quality manager in ensuring that all products meet the company’s specifications and regulatory standards. This role involves daily sample analysis, monitoring production processes, and maintaining documentation within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse product samples daily for quality, durability and compliance with specifications.
• Review work performance and identify potential product issues before they reach customers.
• Record and investigate customer complaints, preparing reports with recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP and ISO 9001 standards across all production stages.
• Assist in writing procedures, maintaining the QMS and supporting ISO 9001 certification.
• Guide and train production staff on quality measures.
• Track equipment calibrations, inventory and inspect incoming raw materials for defects.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to safety protocols.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry or related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a plastic processing firm.
• Positive attitude and ability to lead by example.
