Quality Control Inspector

About the role

The Quality Control Inspector will ensure that raw materials, in‑process production, packaging and finished goods meet the company’s strict quality standards. Working closely with production, warehouse and other cross‑functional teams, you will play a key role in maintaining product integrity in a fast‑paced FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, packaging, in‑process production and finished products against approved specifications.
• Conduct routine quality checks, identify defects, deviations and non‑conforming items.
• Verify product weight, packaging, labeling and batch information.
• Record inspection results and maintain accurate quality documentation.
• Report quality deviations and support corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure rejected or non‑conforming materials are properly identified and segregated.
• Collaborate with Production, Warehouse and other teams to uphold quality standards.
• Follow company SOPs, hygiene requirements and applicable quality standards.

Required profile

• Diploma in Food Science, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology, Quality Management, Production/Manufacturing or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Quality Control or Inspection within a manufacturing or FMCG setting.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality inspection procedures.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare basic quality reports.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and capacity to work under production pressure.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ISO 9001, GMP and HACCP standards.
• Experience using quality inspection and testing equipment.
