Quality Control Inspector – Manufacturing

About the role

The Quality Control Inspector will support manufacturing operations by ensuring raw materials, in‑process items and finished products meet the company’s quality standards. Working closely with Production, Technical and Quality teams, the inspector will carry out sampling, testing and documentation to identify and resolve quality deviations.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials against specifications, conduct sampling and record results.
• Perform in‑process inspections at various production stages, monitor parameters and report deviations.
• Examine finished products for colour, viscosity, weight, packaging and overall consistency before release.
• Document non‑conforming items, support investigations and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate QC records, prepare basic quality reports and ensure proper filing.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent in Chemistry, Laboratory Technology, Quality Control or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of QC/QA experience in manufacturing, preferably paints, coatings or construction chemicals.
• Strong attention to detail, disciplined and able to work under production timelines.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with Production and Technical teams.
