Quality Control/Assurance Manager

About the role

The Quality Control/Assurance Manager will lead laboratory operations, ensuring that all raw materials, packaging, in‑process and finished goods meet the highest quality standards. Reporting to the Factory Manager, this role supports new product development, technical improvements, and compliance with GMP requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all laboratory activities, selecting appropriate testing methods and managing the departmental budget.
• Implement and monitor Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) activities in line with PZC and PPLB standards.
• Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Collect and analyse data to support root‑cause analysis (RCA) and problem‑solving sessions across factories.
• Lead, coach and evaluate laboratory staff, setting objectives and monitoring performance.
• Conduct supplier audits, address material non‑conformances, and ensure third‑party product quality.
• Investigate customer and market complaints, providing thorough feedback after RCA.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality control/assurance within an FMCG environment.
• Strong leadership, accountability, and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and work effectively across internal and external stakeholders.
