Recruitment Specialist – Nairobi (On-site)

About the role

We are seeking a Recruitment Specialist to identify, engage, and build relationships with qualified talent for current and future hiring needs. The role combines recruitment sourcing expertise, research skills, market awareness, and proactive candidate engagement to maintain a consistent pipeline of high-quality candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust pipelines of qualified candidates for recurring, niche, and high-demand roles.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, social media, and advanced search techniques.
• Conduct initial screenings, provide candidate summaries, market insights, and sourcing recommendations.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring priorities, share labor market intelligence, and support workforce planning.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in ATS, track sourcing activity, and report on pipeline performance and recruitment metrics.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in recruitment sourcing, talent acquisition, or a related recruiting role.
• Hands-on experience with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Boolean search, and other sourcing tools.
• Strong expertise in candidate research, passive candidate outreach, and talent mapping.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
