Regional Manager – AIM Programme (Kisii/Kakamega)

About the role

The Regional Manager will lead the planning, budgeting, implementation and monitoring of the AIM programme across the Kisii and Kakamega areas. Reporting to the Field Operations Manager and Programme Manager, the role ensures alignment, quality delivery and effective coordination with BRAC regional support functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall regional planning and execution of the AIM programme, ensuring targets are met according to the work plan and budget.
• Supervise Technical Sector Officers and Branch Managers, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management.
• Coordinate procurement, cash flow and budget control at the regional level, adhering to BRAC procurement guidelines.
• Monitor and verify data collection, MIS reporting and financial reporting using the BInsight application and other tools.
• Conduct regular branch and community visits to assess programme quality, documentation and service delivery.
• Facilitate regional coordination meetings, trainings, workshops and district‑level events to ensure internal alignment.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders to enhance programme visibility and impact.
• Support safeguarding by ensuring the safety of team members and participants.
• Prepare and submit timely MIS, narrative and financial reports to the Programme Manager and Field Operations Manager.
