Regional Parts Sales Representative

About the role

The Regional Parts Sales Representative will lead the promotion and distribution of automotive parts across the Westlands region, driving revenue and market share for The Simba Group. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will work closely with dealers, stockists and fleet customers to ensure the availability of genuine parts and deliver exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales plans to meet parts revenue and gross‑margin targets.
• Identify new business opportunities, recruit new parts stockists and expand existing accounts.
• Conduct regular customer visits, presentations and business reviews, reactivating dormant accounts.
• Coordinate regional marketing campaigns, promotional activities and dealer branding.
• Monitor dealer and stockist performance, providing coaching and improvement initiatives.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly territory plans, competitor analyses and market intelligence reports.
• Support demand forecasting, inventory management and credit compliance.
• Maintain strong relationships with fleet customers, independent workshops and resolve enquiries promptly.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Business, Automotive Engineering or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years experience in automotive parts sales, with at least two (2) years in regional or field sales.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region.

• Proficiency with CRM systems for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.
