Regional Sales Representative

About the role

The Regional Sales Representative will drive growth for solar, electrical and construction product lines across Westlands and surrounding areas. You will build and nurture relationships with installers, distributors, EPC contractors and retail partners, ensuring a strong pipeline of opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop a database of solar companies, electrical firms, installers, retailers, EPC contractors and distributors.
• Conduct regular on‑site customer visits and gather market requirements.
• Create customer profiles, secure partnership opportunities and support regional market expansion.
• Follow up on leads, quotations, purchase orders, payments and product deliveries.
• Collect market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, customer needs and project opportunities.
• Assist with store openings, installer training and product demonstrations.
• Submit daily and weekly visit reports, opportunity tracking and issue logs.
• Support achievement of regional sales targets.

Required profile

• High School Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (preferred fields: Marketing, Business, Electrical Engineering, Energy or Engineering).
• 1‑3 years of experience in sales, channel development, solar or electrical products, construction materials or B2B sales.
• Familiarity with the local market and existing installer or distribution contacts is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel frequently and a valid driver’s licence; own motorcycle or vehicle preferred.
• Strong English communication skills; Kiswahili preferred.
• Results‑oriented with a proven ability to meet sales KPIs.
