About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Regional Staff Counsellor (P) for its Nairobi office in Westlands. The position is a fixed‑term contract of one year with the possibility of extension, reporting directly to the Chief Staff Welfare Officer at Headquarters. The role supports IOM’s commitment to a respectful, inclusive, and supportive workplace for staff on the move.
Key responsibilities
Required profile
- Mid‑level professional with at least 84 months (7 years) of relevant experience.
- Open to first‑tier internal candidates and candidates from IOM Member States that are not currently represented in professional categories.
- Preference is given to qualified female candidates and to applicants from non‑represented member countries.
- Ability to work onsite in Nairobi, Westlands.
