Regional Wholesale Manager

About the role

CCBA, the leading Coca‑Cola bottler in Africa, seeks a Regional Wholesale Manager to drive profitable growth across its wholesale channel. You will lead a high‑performing team, manage key customer relationships and ensure operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver regional volume and margin targets by translating the national wholesale plan into actionable area‑level execution plans.
• Ensure wholesale customers adhere to trading terms, contracts and LOS standards through regular trade visits.
• Own day‑to‑day relationships with wholesale customers, develop joint business plans, and activate promotions.
• Manage credit exposure, claims and settlement discounts, escalating risk early.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Logistics and Demand Planning to guarantee order fulfillment and accurate forecasting.
• Enforce product quality standards, stock rotation and FIFO principles across wholesale outlets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field; postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• 6‑8 years of FMCG sales experience with proven success in wholesale or distributor channel management.
• Track record of achieving volume, revenue and execution targets in a defined region.
• Experience leading and coaching a field sales team.

Required skills

• Ability to translate national channel strategy into regional execution plans.
• Strong negotiation, influencing and commercial acumen (margin management, credit control).
• Analytical skills to interpret channel performance data.
• People leadership to build, coach and hold a high‑performing team accountable.
• Digital proficiency in sales tools and reporting platforms (SFA, B2B, EDS).
