Relationship Officer – Corporate

About the role

The Relationship Officer – Corporate reports to the Senior Manager – Client Retention and is responsible for driving business retention and revenue growth by building and nurturing long‑term client relationships within the medical sector. The role focuses on delivering efficient, customer‑focused services that enhance the client experience, encourage repeat business and generate valuable referrals.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑ordinate dispatch of renewal notices and confirm renewals through active client engagement.
• Initiate renewal meetings with clients or intermediaries and assist in tender preparation and review.
• Conduct quarterly performance and service review meetings with clients to identify and address service gaps.
• Train scheme members on policy awareness, best utilisation practices and hospital access.
• Educate scheme members on wellness programs, including medical camps and health talks.
• Ensure timely follow‑up on questions, issues, reimbursement approvals and other ad‑hoc communications between clients and CIC.
• Communicate reimbursement payments and declines to clients and coordinate approvals with the Care‑Team.
• Transmit member addition and deletion instructions to the Medical Underwriting team and keep clients updated on policy changes.
