Remote DevOps Engineer (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a contract DevOps Engineer to join a global IT services leader on a remote basis. You will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure to support fast‑moving development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Ansible or equivalent.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production and staging issues, and ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with developers to streamline deployments and integrations.
• Apply security best practices throughout infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong background in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Solid understanding of Git version control and branching strategies.
