Remote Frontend Web Developer (HTML & CSS)

About the role

We are seeking a Remote Frontend Web Developer specialized in HTML and CSS to join a leading technology company on a contract basis. The role focuses on translating design mock-ups into responsive, high-performance user interfaces for a high-traffic platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end components using HTML, CSS, and related technologies.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design across desktop and mobile devices.
• Collaborate closely with design teams to implement pixel-perfect UI elements from Figma, Sketch or similar tools.
• Optimize front-end performance, accessibility, and load times.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end best practices.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of semantic HTML markup and modern CSS techniques.
• Experience with responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and communicate effectively with distributed teams.
