About the role
The Research & Policy Volunteer will support the team in advancing youth development initiatives across the East African Community. Working closely with policy analysts, the volunteer will help gather and interpret data, draft briefing documents, and contribute to advocacy strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to youth development and employment trends.
- Draft policy briefs, reports, and summaries on governance, employment, and regional integration.
- Support stakeholder consultations and document findings.
- Conduct desk research on EAC policies, youth frameworks, and emerging trends.
- Collaborate with the policy team to develop advocacy recommendations.
