About the role

Peponi's, a new contemporary Neapolitan‑style pizza restaurant in Nairobi, is looking for a dynamic General Manager to lead daily operations and ensure an outstanding guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations to deliver a smooth, efficient workflow.
• Manage floor staff, schedule shifts, and ensure high standards of customer service.
• Address service issues promptly and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Train and develop team members to ensure consistent service quality.
• Coordinate closely with kitchen staff to align service and food preparation.
• Maintain operational standards, health and safety compliance, and inventory control.

Required profile

• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in operations management and workflow optimization.
• Experience leading employee training and development.
• Previous hospitality management experience is highly desirable.
• Organizational and problem‑solving skills to handle floor challenges.
• Diploma or degree in hospitality, business management, or a related field preferred.
