Risk Manager

About the role

The Risk Manager will lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks that could affect PC Construction’s projects and overall business objectives. Working closely with corporate departments, you will ensure compliance with regulations and align insurance coverage with contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the Corporate Property & Casualty Program, Contractor Controlled Insurance Program (CCIP), Subcontractor Default Insurance Program (SDI), Builder’s Risk and other project‑specific coverages.
• Review bid documents, specifications, contracts, lease and equipment rental agreements to determine insurance needs and issue certificates of insurance.
• Track subcontractor flow‑down insurance requirements and maintain sample certificates for consistency.
• Coordinate with third‑party compliance vendors, evaluate exceptions, and approve where appropriate.
• Maintain schedules of projects under the master Builder’s Risk program and prepare quarterly audit reports.
• Monitor project‑specific Builder’s Risk policies, adjust limits, and manage policy extensions.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of proven experience in construction risk management, insurance underwriting, or account management.
• Extensive knowledge of the insurance market and relevant regulations.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and analytical abilities.
• Construction industry experience is preferred.
