Rust Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Rust Developer to join a global software development leader on a contract basis. The role focuses on building high-performance, memory-safe systems and integrating Rust components into existing solutions. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Rust-based applications and libraries with an emphasis on performance and reliability.
• Write idiomatic Rust code following best practices for safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Rust components into existing systems.
• Optimize algorithms and data structures for low-latency and high-throughput applications.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions for system design.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Rust and its ecosystem (Cargo, Clippy, Rustfmt).
• Experience with systems programming, including memory management and concurrency.
• Familiarity with performance profiling and debugging tools for Rust applications.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and optimization techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
