Sales Account Manager – Hotel Business Development

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, commercially‑focused Sales Account Manager to lead business development for a fast‑growing hotel. The role will drive revenue growth across corporate, travel, meetings, conferences and events segments, expanding the hotel’s client portfolio and strategic partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase occupancy, market share and overall revenue.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, leisure, travel and events segments.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, tour operators and event planners.
• Negotiate and manage partnerships that generate sustainable revenue.
• Secure bookings for conferences, meetings, weddings, group events and other functions.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, convert prospects and achieve targets.
• Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows and networking forums.
• Collaborate with marketing, reservations, front office, F&B and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Track competitor activity, market trends and pricing to uncover new opportunities.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and business development updates for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in hotel sales, business development or a comparable role.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and growing corporate accounts.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
