Sales Administrator – Engineering (Ksh 50‑60K)

About the role

Our client is an engineering‑led supplier of pumping systems, prime movers, power transmission products and industrial equipment. They are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Sales Administrator to support the sales team and ensure smooth operation of sales processes.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule meetings, coordinate travel and accommodation for the sales team, and organise sales clinics and trade‑show participation.
• Handle sales documentation, reconcile sales reports, fill out comments on reports and manage client correspondence, including legal documentation.
• Maintain and update the client database and CRM, assign new leads, perform data‑mining of prospective clients and ensure data compliance.
• Support quotation discount reviews, invoicing, dispatch and act as backup for front‑office roles.
• Facilitate communication between sales, marketing, finance and other departments, and monitor progress of sales campaigns.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales or a related field.
• Previous experience in a sales support or administrative role, preferably in an engineering or industrial environment.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities with high accuracy and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with CRM or ERP systems.
