Sales Administrator

About the role

The Sales Administrator provides essential administrative and operational support to the sales function, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and high‑quality customer service. Working closely with the Sales and Operations Managers, the role helps maintain accurate sales records, manage enquiries and support the team in achieving its targets.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service via phone, email and in‑person interactions.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries, resolve issues professionally and maintain detailed interaction logs.
• Keep sales, inventory and customer records up‑to‑date and accurate.
• Provide product and service information, guiding customers toward suitable solutions.
• Assist customers with account updates and other administrative requests.
• Maintain and regularly update inventory schedules and stock records.
• Prepare sales reports, customer records and other required documentation.
• Support the sales team with routine administrative tasks to ensure efficient operations.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher qualification in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in sales administration, customer service or a similar administrative role.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise workload and meet deadlines while maintaining professionalism.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems (advantageous).
