Sales and Marketing Executive - ICT Products

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring full-time Sales and Marketing Executives in Mombasa to sell ICT products and business technology solutions. The role covers business development, product sales, customer relationship management and sales reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business through calls, referrals, networking, digital channels and field visits, and manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closing and follow-up.
• Sell tax invoicing/e-invoicing, POS systems, ICT hardware, security solutions and office automation products, and upsell and cross-sell complementary offerings.
• Understand customers' operations and needs and recommend suitable hardware, software, POS, invoicing, security or office automation solutions, working with technical teams where needed.
• Build relationships with existing and prospective business customers, follow up on leads, quotations and installations, and generate repeat business and referrals.
• Identify target markets, monitor competitors and market trends, and take part in exhibitions, networking events and promotions.
• Maintain records of leads, prospects, quotations and sales activity, prepare regular sales reports and track monthly and quarterly targets.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Information Technology or a related field.
• 2+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in ICT, technology, POS, software, security systems or office automation.
• Experience in B2B sales, prospecting, client acquisition, negotiation and closing; selling to SMEs and corporate clients is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of ICT products and business technology solutions.
• Comfortable doing field sales and visiting prospective customers.
