About the role
We are looking for a motivated Sales Assistant to join our retail team in Nairobi, Westlands. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find the right products and ensuring a smooth shopping experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer product queries and guide them to merchandise.
- Process payments using cash registers or point‑of‑sale systems.
- Restock shelves, maintain visual displays and assist with inventory counts.
- Handle customer complaints calmly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate price labeling and ensure the store is clean and organized.
- Participate in in‑store marketing events and promotions.
- Develop in‑depth product knowledge to recommend items effectively.
Required profile
- Minimum High School KCSE Certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Strong organizational and detail‑oriented mindset.
- Effective communication and exceptional customer service skills.
