About the role
We are looking for a motivated Sales Assistant to join our retail team at Baltic Textiles in Westlands, Nairobi. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find products and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer product queries and provide assistance throughout the store.
- Process transactions using cash registers and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
- Maintain product displays, restock shelves, and support inventory counts.
- Handle customer complaints calmly and professionally.
- Ensure price tags are accurate and the store remains clean and organized.
- Participate in in‑store marketing events and promote product knowledge.
Required profile
- Minimum education: High School (KCSE) certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and exceptional customer service orientation.
Required skills
- Operation of cash registers and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
