Sales Assistant – New Store Opening

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our new Anaconda store in Grafton. You will help create memorable shopping experiences for outdoor enthusiasts while supporting the store’s launch.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and advise customers on product selection.
• Process sales transactions efficiently at the register.
• Maintain store presentation by restocking, merchandising, and ensuring cleanliness.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets.
• Assist across different departments as needed during the store opening phase.

Required profile

• Positive, can‑do attitude with a passion for outdoor and adventure products.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly approach.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Flexible availability for shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Previous retail experience is a plus but not mandatory – training will be provided.
