Sales Associate

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Associate to join The Chef’s Warehouse, a leading distributor of specialty ingredients to top‑tier chefs. In this role you will be the primary point of contact for restaurants, hotels, caterers and retail outlets, helping them discover and purchase premium products.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business and expand existing accounts to grow revenue.
• Identify and qualify prospective customers using industry directories, trade shows, websites and other sources.
• Travel within an assigned territory to meet customers, present product samples or catalogs, and secure orders.
• Prepare quotes, pricing and credit terms tailored to each client’s needs.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑focused attitude with a passion for food and culinary trends.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned region.
