Sales Executive - Cleaning Equipment & Accessories

About the role

Career Directions Limited is recruiting, on behalf of its client, a Sales Executive in Nairobi to supply cleaning equipment and accessories to the hospitality industry. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the role drives sales growth and manages customer relationships, acting as the main point of contact for customers across phone, email, walk-ins and social media.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and create leads in the hospitality sector, conduct cold calls and outreach, and schedule and attend meetings to present products and solutions.
• Develop strategies to meet individual and team sales targets.
• Prepare quotations with product specifications, maintain an up-to-date client list and store client records digitally and on paper.
• Serve as first point of contact for inquiries and handle walk-in clients, then share customer information internally.
• Follow up on after-sales service, coordinate invoicing and delivery of orders, and follow up on quotations to gather client feedback.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience, preferably in hospitality or cleaning equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented and organized.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team, and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Preferred: knowledge of cleaning equipment and accessories.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
