Sales Executive – Construction Sector (Nairobi)

About the role

Our client, a growing start‑up offering ceiling moulding products and related construction solutions, is looking for a proactive Sales Executive to drive revenue by identifying prospects, building relationships and presenting suitable products.

Key responsibilities

• Generate, qualify and follow up on leads, moving prospects through the sales pipeline.
• Meet clients to understand their ceiling, interior finishing, renovation or construction needs and recommend appropriate moulding products.
• Conduct presentations, product demonstrations and site visits to explain the company’s value proposition.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, pricing and sales documentation.
• Identify upcoming construction, renovation and interior finishing projects and pursue supply opportunities.
• Provide regular updates on sales activity, pipeline progress, customer feedback and market trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Ability to prospect new customers, develop business relationships and consistently follow up on sales opportunities.
• Good understanding of the construction and building materials market, with the ability to engage contractors, developers, architects and other stakeholders.
• Confident verbal and written communication skills for client meetings, presentations and site visits.
• Proactive, organised, persistent, target‑driven and adaptable to a start‑up environment.
