Sales Executive – Plastics & Pipes (East Africa)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and result‑oriented Sales Executive with a strong background in the pipe and pipe‑fittings industry to drive sales and business development across Kenya.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales and business development for pipes and pipe fittings across Kenya.
• Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, dealers, contractors, consultants and key customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Negotiate commercial terms and close sales.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements and competitor activities.
• Prepare sales forecasts, market reports and regular business updates.
• Coordinate with internal teams regarding quotations, orders, deliveries and customer requirements.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and generate repeat business.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of sales experience in the pipe or pipe‑fittings industry.
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of the Kenyan pipe and pipe‑fittings market and an established network of distributors, dealers, contractors and consultants.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and strong negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
