Sales Intern

About the role

Jubilee Life Insurance Limited is recruiting Sales Interns in Nairobi, Mombasa, Thika, Nyeri, Meru, Nakuru, Eldoret, Kisumu and Kisii. The intern reports to the Sales Manager and is supported to grow their agency in a branch, helping to expand Jubilee Life's market share in Kenya. The intern distributes Jubilee Life solutions and serves the customers introduced to the company.

Key responsibilities

• Attend product and skill training to understand company products and how to distribute them
• Prospect in the market and present Jubilee products to prospective customers
• Solicit and procure business on behalf of the company
• Service clients and pass on all information received from them to the company
• Uphold the company's image and brand
• Achieve new business sales targets for number of policies, annualized premiums, persistency and gross written premiums, for both new and renewal business
• Attend meetings called by sales management for training, supervision, motivation and market deployment
• Comply with the industry code of conduct, company regulations and relevant laws

Required profile

• Minimum age of 21 years
• Graduate, diploma or certificate holder
• Minimum grade C- (minus) in KCSE
• Self-driven, positive attitude, disciplined and a go-getter
